"Jesus is the Brand of Jeans" Move 3: Make the Implicit Explicit

It seems as if it is kind of stating the obvious. The way advertisement targets low self esteem people. It implying that the articles are lying to you and it talks negatively about the ads. It’s saying advertisements are saying if you have that one thing you’ll be happy. It’s substituting the human relationship. People say they don’t actually pay attention to that kind of stuff but they really do because you see them wearing the designer clothes and everything. It says how advertising shapes the culture and what people believe and no matter how much you try to avoid it you really can’t. the religious references and how they seem to use symbols and things from the Bible that we don’t always notice. Advertisement knows how to manipulate you. People who may read this would probably be people who are younger but the older generation would read it and be more upset by it because it is talking about how all of this advertising has changed the world they knew. It was published to show how advertising controls us and raises awareness and exploits every situations. It is organized by the different advertisement tactic.
