Sicong Hua: Lamborghini LP-640 and The Beauty

This is the latest Advertisement of Lamborghini, the woman who dressed like a wealthy and powerful beauty is trying to get into the LP-640. It seems like she is looking at us, very proud of her car, which represents success and wealth. It is widely accepted that LP-640 looks like a man, strong, solid, solemn and even shows his ambitous. They are waiting each other, which in another way, means they fall in love with each other, coincidentally.
Well, the ad creates the basic principles of women in the current society, what they need, what they want, what they dream and what they pursue. It is very easy for audience to interpret the deeper meaning of this ad: LP-640 represents the man who has power and money, the woman is what man wants and the treasures that the man owns is also what the woman pursues. In the primary source, I would like to analysis the basic evaluation principles of modern people: why they always equalize the conceptions of powerful man and the top roadsters? why woman always prefer weathy and powerful man? Is that true that we can interpret the ad in this way: the man does not love the woman, he just love baeuty; the woman doesn't like the man, she just like the attractive things the man owns?

  1. Great analysis. I like how you point out that the woman is looking at us and is confident and powerful and that the car is like the man in the relationship. To some extent, I do think it is true that 'things', such as cars or beauty, do attract people.

  2. I agree with what you said about the car being compared to a man. It is almost like the woman is in a relationship with the car. I think that your analysis of this ad was very unique and will lead to an excellent paper.
