This ad is for Mustang cologne. A woman in a swim suite is lying on top of a half naked male and they seem to be lying on the beach. It seems as if they are about to kiss, or have just kissed. They may even be in the process of making love. It appears that the two are a couple, and are in an intimate realtionship, because of how deeply they are gazing into eachothers eyes
This ad can appeal to both men and women. To men it says that if you wear this type of you will get in a deep romantic connection with a women. This cologne will cause a girl to be all over you, and fall in love with you. I feel like this can also send a message to women. The man in the picture appears to be a sexy, in shape, man. They get the message that men wearing this cologne could be winners and perfect if you're looking for a romantic connection.
Good job with relating the cologne to both male and female. This ad does show a lot of sexual appeal, especially for men because they will want to get the cologne so that girls will be all over them and find them attractive.
ReplyDeleteThis advertisement is another good illustration of how ads are trying to sell sex appeal more than they are trying to sell their product. They are trying to play on the fact that people are unsure about their relationships and if they buy this cologne then they will find a relationship.
